Once again Boca Terry receives compliments for our exceptional bathrobes. This time it is from “on high,” as it comes from a knighted member of England’s business society, Sir David Samworth.

Sir Samworth contacted us recently, inquiring about the luxury bathrobes he and his wife enjoyed when they stayed at the famous Caledonian Hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland. They were so impressed that they asked the hotel concierge for the name of the supplier so that they could purchase a set of their own. We were happy to oblige!

From Leicestershire, England, Sir David Samworth turned the family business he inherited into an empire. Dealing in commonly used household brands, Sir Samworth is one of the area’s largest private sector employers and well known for his charity work both near and far.

As Chairman and President at Samworth Brothers Ltd, Sir Samworth was knighted in 2009 for his dedication to helping others. He set up the Samworth Academy in Leicester as a way to help educate underprivileged children. Among many other organizations, he set up the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge, where staff, suppliers, and customers enjoy two days of mountaineering, kayaking, and navigation to support a number of causes, including in Africa, where he strives to help alleviate poverty and disease.
