I have compiled a list of the top ten picks in each category (Conditioners, Leave-in conditioners, Shampoos, Product lines, Moisturizers, Places to buy products, and Hair tools). Thanks to everyone who participated. If you didn’t participate this year, I hope you will participate in the Natural Hair Report Card for 2011.

This list shows what naturals use to moisturize their hair and what helps to seal in moisture. Some are

AND THE TOP MOISTURE AID IS…

1. WATER!!

I agree 100% with the top answer. There is nothing that does what water does for hair.  We need water water on our hair, but we also need to make sure that we ar drinking water.  The other great thing about the items on this list are that many of them are inexpensive and can be found in grocery stores and health food stores locally. Many natural are making their own homemade spritzes and butters using some of the ingredients on this list. Other common ingredients were glycerine, aloe vera gel, and other oils. Are these items ones that you use to help keep your hair moisturized?
