Twists Tutorial!

Twists Tutorial!

Published on Jun 19th 2010

Ok so this is how my sister’s hair looked before i started

I saturated her hair in olive oil and separated it into 4 sections. If you have a lot of hair, separating always makes the job 20 times easier.

I wet her hair and then put a baking soda treatment on it.

I let that sit for about 10 – 15 mins, washed it out and conditioned, moisturized and sealed as i twisted.

I length checked her hair before i started twisting. Looks about APL to me.

I started twisting one section at a time with coconut oil and gel. When i got to the ends, i used coconut oil

Halfway done.

And finally done!

I find that taking it 4 sections really helps. This took about 4 hours but it will last at least a month

I hope this helps someone!
