How to Cut Curly / Coily Hair
Found this bit of information on the internet. It notes the differences between cutting curly/coily hair and straight hair.
Whenever I’ve cut my own hair, I’ve just cut it link by link, pretty much. I’ve pretty much given up on getting an “even” cut ever since I asked my hair dresser to trim my afro when I was in junior high and she basically ran screaming out of the salon.
But apparently, there is a slicing and angling method that isn’t even taught to stylists in school.
