Promotional products trade show floors can be overwhelming. Attendees can maximize their time by staying close, coming prepared, and attending “smart” events.
Boca Terry has just wrapped up the ASI Show in Orlando, and we’ll soon be packing for the PPAI Expo in Las Vegas (Booth #1862). In honor of promotional products trade show season, we’re sharing our top recommendations to those who plan on attending this year.
- Stay close. There are numerous advantages of being next door or across the street from all the action. Travel time takes away from valuable time on the floor. Also, if your hotel is not in a convenient location, you’ll be less likely to engage in after-hours social gatherings. So don’t feel too bad about spending a bit more on the suite.
- Come with a plan. If you want to get the most out of your trade show experience, then preparation is paramount. So, is there anything you’re searching for specifically? (Perhaps a line of luxury bathrobes with custom embroidery?) Have you browsed the list of exhibitors and highlighted any vendors you’re currently working with? Vendors and products of interest? Make a game plan to visit those booths first.
- Be open to change. Now that you have a carefully mapped out plan of attack… be willing to change it whenever opportunities present themselves.
- Attend all the things. Okay, not all the things, but certainly the “smart” events. Promotional products trade shows are more than just exhibits. In one show, you’re likely to receive invitations to opening night festivities, workshops, seminars, keynotes, and evening soirees. Choose the events that will allow you to network effectually.
Next week we will be at Booth 1862 at the PPAI Expo in Las Vegas. Find us on the floor and learn a bit more about Boca Terry, the most trusted manufacturer of wholesale luxury bathrobes and spa accessories worldwide.
